I’m testing out how to do this. Soon I will have mad skills. Then I can go from saying, “I am an HR person” to “I am a blogger,” which sounds much cooler.

I have now read your entire archives and just wanted to leave a comment and let you know that I think you are funny, wonderful and inspiring (in the sense that maybe I can go into HR and still have a sense of humor). Thanks!
Thank you. If only my children thought I was inspiring too. I’m currently trying to inspire them to nap, and it’s not working.
You can definitely have a sense of humor in HR. In fact, if you don’t have one, it’s going to suck, and you might end up being one of those people who moves to a cabin in Montana with no running water, just to get away from the crazies.
