Ask a Manager—we went to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Day at Old World Wisconsin, a historic site that is cool beyond description. One of the things they had was a real pig’s bladder that you could throw. My kid refused to touch it. Chip off the ol’ block, that one.

Charles—I hadn’t seen the addendum. That is very interesting. I guess it’s not so smart to look like a weenie in a national publication. Who knew?

I saw that WSj article about only hiring those who are currently employed – nothing new that I haven’t been hearing for years from some people.

However, what I found most interesting was the “correction” listed at the bottom of the article. I guess Bobby Fitzgerald thought being in the article would give his restaurant “free publicity.” It seems that he may have had second thoughts after seeing how he and his comments were portrayed in the article.
