I am not sure I can make this family-friendly, but here goes:

Guy was scheduled for an interview in the afternoon of a Friday before a holiday. Because of the timing, the parking lot was more or less empty. I had a good view of the parking lot from where I sat.

The guy was in the passenger seat, and a female was driving. They were maybe 15 minutes early, and I figured they would just wait in the car or something.

I looked out a few minutes later. The guy was still in the passenger seat, with an odd look on his face. I couldn’t see the female….until a minute or two later, when her head popped up.

It was a very short interview.

I want details! Or at least subtle hints using family-friendly euphemisms.

Anna—the “Kerry Sandberg sucks’ ex-employee isn’t the same one as the “Kerry Sandberg Scott ice cream housewife” ex-employee in the comments of this thread.

The “ice cream housewife” one is 47 times crazier than the “Kerry Sandberg sucks” one, but I think she’s laying low these days.

OK, I know you were trying to lighten this up. I get that. But as a generalist/recruiter, I now need to rant about #20. Using different size/color paper for your resume, adding a post it note, etc….crap, crap, crap. Just freaking be qualified for the job, will ya? Also, if every time I pick up a stack of resumes, yours doesn’t fit into the stack or falls out because it’s too small, I’m mad, not impressed that you thought outside of the box. Get in the box friend.

Okay, for #20, in the “imagined” rant, I would probably open with a quote from the “article” (I feel the need to use that term loosely – because its pretty bad!!) –

“Use light brown or light blue choose the proffesional one .”

……edited to add “and might I suggest spell check”.

Seriously?!?!?!

And even when you’re being “serious”, I think you’re pretty darn funny – keep ‘em coming! (won’t that be fun in a Google search!)
